Stephen has built his career on the belief that comprehensive financial planning is the foundation of financial independence. As a Wealth Manager and founding partner of Foundation Wealth Management, LLC, he collaborates with clients to create personalized financial plans that help them achieve long-term security and success.
Steve entered the financial services industry in 2000 at The Hartford Mutual Funds before becoming a Financial Planner at a large Philadelphia-based Registered Investment Advisory firm. There, he played a key role in the firm’s retirement plan team, working closely with businesses to educate employees on the power of financial planning and saving for retirement. Over the years, he has developed financial strategies for a diverse range of clients, including retirees, doctors, teachers, and corporate executives.
Steve is a graduate of Penn State University with a degree in Business Administration. Steve earned his Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) designation and is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ PRACTIONER. He has provided background information for many publications including the Wall Street Journal and Money Magazine. Steve is a National Association of Personal Financial Advisors (NAPFA) registered advisor and subscribes to the stringent and mandatory annual educational hours, experience and code of ethics to meet the requirements. Steve regularly attends industry conferences and workshops to stay on top of the ever-changing world of technology and to learn the latest financial planning techniques. He also is an adjunct professor at Temple University and teaches undergraduate classes on personal finance and investment management.
A lifelong Delaware County resident, Steve enjoys the simple pleasure of walking to work in Media, PA. Outside of finance, he has a passion for classic movies, discovering new restaurants, and spending time with family and friends. An avid reader, he particularly enjoys history and biographies.
